SPECIFICATIONS
The boat is hand-built in the traditional manner, of marine plywood and locally sourced hardwoods and softwoods: black walnut, ash, cedar, mahogany and oak. All exposed wood surfaces are double- and triple-coated with Gougeon WEST System 105 Epoxy Resin, and 205/207 Hardeners. Final double- and triple-coating is Epifanes High Gloss Clear Varnish (Extra UV-Filter).

Joints, trim, fillets and structural members are secured by epoxy and silicon-bronze fasteners (nails and screws) for structural members. The bottom and sides are reinforced by layers of 6 oz. fiberglass cloth for strength and abrasion resistance, then primed with two coats of Interlux Pre-Kote (4280 gray) and painted with two coats of Interlux Brightside Enamel (4247 Sea Green).
